Ras Lanuf Terminal is one of Libya’s largest oil export facilities and a key component of the country’s energy infrastructure. Located within Libya’s Oil Crescent region on the Gulf of Sirte, the terminal serves as a major export outlet for crude oil, refined petroleum products and petrochemical cargoes.
The terminal consists of offshore Single Point Mooring (SPM) facilities and dedicated loading berths supporting the export of various crude oil grades and petroleum products. Ras Lanuf is capable of accommodating large crude carriers and plays a vital role in Libya’s hydrocarbon export operations.
In addition to crude oil exports, the terminal supports the handling of refined products, LPG and petrochemical cargoes through specialized marine facilities.
